We have come a long way since John, our Chief Instructor, started sailing back in the mid-80's. Back then the technology just didn't exist to allow friends and families to follow our adventures afloat - not unless you had very deep wallets!

These days the mobile phone, laptops and other gadgets mean we can stay in touch so much more easily. Sharing our adventures gets easier each year as software and platforms develop. This page will be where you can catch up with our adventures past and present.

For those of you following our current adventures do remember that no news is just that - it's not a sign that we are in trouble in any way! With VHF and EPIRB on board, Prime Evil is very capable of sending a cry for help if needed . No news may mean that we are beyond normal phone range, are busy changing sails, or just enjoying ourselves the old fashioned way - sailing a great boat and not wanting to share it with everyone.

Our list of adventures will grow over time, maybe you will get to star in one of them...........

The 2011 Fastnet Campaign
Our BIG Project of  2011, with 300 miles of racing and 6 days training before the 608 miles of the Fastnet itself, the 10 crew will need commitment, and a sense of humour to see it through to the beers in Plymouth.  Using Tripsailor, an online sailing blog site, an Android phone ( with help from a laptop from time to time) , this should be our best blog to date with geo-tagged photos, and tracking on Google Maps to come. Round The Island Race -

With this the 80th anniversary year this promises to be even more spectacular than ever. With previous winners invited, and the normal mix of traditional and ultra-modern it's a photographers dream. There will be 12 of us racing aroundt the Island  on board Prime Evil this year, again supported by Trouble Maker - providing much needed extra bunks and somewhere for the bags!

Tour Des Ports de la Manche - 2010
Racing around the Channel Islands and Cotentin Peninsula in July 2010. 6 of us took part in a series of day races during a week of fog, sun, flat calm and strong breezes - I guess you could call it a typical week in the summer. For this Blog we used a Nokia 5800 running Shozu to post our news.......

New Year Cruise 2-4th January 2009

With Rasim and Evgneyia 2 of our Russian clients and friends. Great company and great sailing - just the way to blow away the Christmas cobwebs.

RORC Cowes to Cherbourg Race 2008

The race that wasn't meant to be after sail damage prior to the start, a crew member injuring their back and the weather failing to behave as forecast......Filmed by Rassim, our Russian filmaker friend - coming soon!
