Cruising Cruising to many is THE way to explore. John, our Chief Instructor, has spent many years teaching RYA courses and as the Cruise Leader of the RYA's Sail Cruise (a role now relinquished in order to run Wetstuff). Over the years, this both encouraged, and enabled many to sail off into their own personal sunset - whether as boat owners setting off for the Med, or charterers being in command of a boat for the first time. This has now been developed into the range of cruises and milebuilders offered by Wetstuff. Offering a number of opportunities for non-boat owners, and owners alike, to develop their cruising skills to take some of the stress out of sailing, our milebuilding cruises are a great success. We aim to emphasise "fun sailing" rather than "survival sailing", so destinations are chosen according to the weather forecast and crew experience. You will get to log night hours and miles towards RYA qualifications, while getting the opportunity to develop your sailing skills in a fun environment along the way.If you, and your friends, are interested then please drop us a line and we will let you know the plans in more detail once they are confirmed by clicking Milebuilders and Cruising. 2 day cruises - These 2 day trips are a great chance to keep your hand in and blow away the cobwebs. Cost £180 per head. Our next 2 day cruises is 24-26th February..New Year Cruise - dates for the 2012 New Years Cruise are still to be confirmed. Last years saw us partying with friends in Cowes. 5 day Cruises - our next will be in 2012, dates to be confirmed Longer Cruises - Western Approaches Cruise, from the 22nd July through to the 11th August. We will be heading West, escaping the from the Solent and exploring the Brittany Coast. Cost is £1400 per head. |
