We will be entering Prime Evil into various events over the coming years, offering individuals and groups the opportunity to join us, developing their sailing skills, making new friends and having fun at the same time as taking part in world famous events such as the Fastnet Race, and Round the Island Race.

Race Days and weekends 2008.
Portsmouth Parhelion Series - with upto 2 races a day, these are short and sharp, fun races. Our aims are to use these races to introduce newcomers to yacht racing and to give those who have sailed already a chance to develop their skills. We are offering Saturday racing for £150 per person or the weekend for £180 with breakfast and lunch provided. Discouts available for multiple bookings or a group. Autumn Series 27th September, 4, 11, 18, 25th October.Dates for 2009 to be released soon.

RORC Races - we are aiming to take part in several of the 2009 RORC races. Are you up for the challenge of one of the classic offshore races?

Racing Charters For those of you lucky enough to have a crew, but no boat, why not charter Prime Evil to enter the event of your choice? Racing charters are looked after on a case by case basis - after all, it is you who decides which events you would like to enter. Round the Island Race 2009

In 2008 we raced around with 1900 other boats and came 411 overall, and 18th overall - not bad for a crew that first sailed the boat the day before. This world famous race is known for the challenges it has to offer the racing sailor. First of all you have to get to the Needles before the tide turns, then miss the wreck of the Varvassi and the Needles themselves. There are rock ledges all along the south side of the island, before you have to squeeze around St Catherine's Point. You usually get a bit of a break going up the eastern edge of the island, before having to round Bembridge Ledge and getting back into the Solent, with boats often straying onto Ryde Sands in order to cheat the tide.

Fastnet 2009

This classic offshore race requires dedication and enthusiasm - and that's just to qualify! With at least 300 miles of offshore racing required before you can take part in the Fastnet and compulsory training elements, our Fastnet 2009 package will see you sailing a total of around 1200 miles, in 4 races (including the Fastnet itself) and having two training weekends. You will get to be fully involved in our team, helping decide matters along the way that will make it "your Fastnet". Our overall aim is to do as well as possible, without breaking anything - and all wanting a beer together at the end. Cost of the package is £2750.
